DIFERENCIAS
* Nuestros Cánones son simples y ajustados al tamaño de nuestra Iglesia y las lineas de los Evangelios.
* Aceptamos Sacerdotes Casados.
* A diferencia de la Iglesia Católica Romana, los católicos divorciados pueden volver a casarse ante un sacerdote y vivir su matrimonio en plena comunión con la Iglesia.
*Damos la comunión a personas divorciadas.
*No contamos con edificios propios ni salarios a nuestros Sacerdotes, buscamos vivir transparentes en la administración de bienes materiales.
*Nuestro Clero se sostiene a si mismo y a su familia si está casado.
*Aceptamos ofrendas por nuestro servicio, pero no esperamos depender de esa ofrenda.

Differences with the Roman Catholic Church
The following compares the practice of the Faith adopted by our church with the current practices of the Roman Catholic Church.*We are connected to the Roman Catholic Church through the episcopate and our common Faith as professed in the Apostles' Creed, the Nicene Creed, and the Athanasian Creed.*As the Holy Roman (Catholic) Church, we celebrate as part of Tradition, for example, the Dogmas of the Immaculate Conception (conceived without sin) and the Glorious Assumption of Mary (Holy Dormition); We accept popular devotions.*All sacraments celebrated by this Church are considered VALID by the Holy Roman (Catholic) Church.* As the Roman Catholic Church, we recognize clerical celibacy as a special gift which enhances the ministry of those who freely choose it and which bears powerful witness to the glorious kingdom of God.* As the Roman Catholic Church, we view Baptism as the sacrament of initiation which makes all other sacraments available to us.* We hold to the teaching of St. Thomas Aquinas that “we must follow our own conscience.”

Our Apostolic succession comes from San Carlos Duarte, passed on to Luis Castillo, then to Justo Gonzalez and Jose Villegas in ACCOTUS, of which we are members in its Episcopal conference.
